Secrets Aura Cozumel

We loved our time at this sweet quaint resort. It's nothing fancy but it's very nice. Top shelf liquor, excellent selection of canned beer, wonderful staff, decent food and amazing clean stunning beach. Every morning we'd have breakfast at Market Cafe and Kenia was a lovely hostess. We loved seeing her smiling face every morning. What a gem! Rene and Alberto were wonderful waiters! I wish I had kept record of more names because the service is what makes this place stand out (that and the beach). We also loved the on-site shops, especially Diamonds International.....I didn't treat myself.....this time. And Coco Cafe was a very nice treat everyday.

Awesome trip for 11 days. Exceptional food and service . Top notch steak and lobster for new years and gotta throw a special shout out to Kenia at market cafe for always making me feel special knowing our names. … and Alberto at the omelette bar is a master of his craft

Lovely resort. We had an amazing two weeks here. The room was peaceful and we slept like babies. The fridge was always full of water and beer. 4 pools. But I think what makes this resort is its people the lovely staff that are attentive and friendly thanks artemio, Wendy who works so hard and is a beautiful person and axel. The food at Bordeaux is delicious and we loved the cooking experience on the rooftop fun fun. Loved secret aura.

Reviews are truly subjective. However, each experience is different by individuals and even groups. Travel with the right people and everything will fall in place! Celebrating a BIG 50th bday… redirected from Jamaica to Cozumel (due to unforeseen circumstances). OMG! This resort and staff took special heart-care for us … shout-out to Gabriel, Manager of Concierge made it happen! Hibachi experience was amazing! Treat people right and they will treat you right! Rooms, amazingly clean! Food great! Now, Resort is a quieter side; but again, make your fun with the right people. If you’re looking for hype. Larger group would suggest a different Secrets. But, again - this ONE gave our family a memorable experience!!

Secrets Cozumel was my first experience at an all inclusive resort, and overall it really was a treat. The beachfront location is beautiful, with multiple restaurants on site offering seating that overlooks the water, which made meals feel relaxed and special. Our room had a large balcony with a daybed, perfect for lounging and enjoying the view. The bed itself was incredibly comfortable with some of the best pillows I have slept on, and the air conditioning worked very well, almost too well since we could not figure out how to warm the room back up. Customer service was very mixed. About half of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, while others came across as dismissive or uninterested. Room service was especially confusing. It was difficult to figure out how to order, and the employees we asked did not provide clear guidance, so we ended up calling a restaurant directly to get help. The bellman was also very insistent on handling our luggage, which felt a bit pushy. The property itself is expansive and nicely maintained, but it is easy to get turned around at first. Check in took far too long, which was frustrating after traveling. Overall, it was a nice experience with great amenities and a beautiful setting, just with some minor but noticeable service issues that kept it from being a perfect stay.

Overall our stay at Secrets was great. Several things to be careful of. 1. We ate at the French Resturant - Bordeaux. The food was fair, not excellent, and even though they say reservations aren't needed, they will get you in immediately with the purchase of a $100 plus bottle of wine and after being seated, little to no wait at the seating station. Just a push to upset. 2. Beware of taxi pricing and make sure of pricing. Secrets staff quoted us $40 for 1 to 4 people. A lone guest was taking taxi to airport. We asked him if wanted to split ticket. Get to airport, he pays driver fair of $40 and demands addtl $40 from my wife and I because we never asked fair from him. Taxis at airport and hotel will rip you off if not careful

It's my second time going and I love it. Wendy kept us entertained during the day with fun activities. Rooms were clean other than you'd sometimes have a wash cloth and sometimes you didn't, lol. I love the most of the places to eat you can have ocean view. We will be going back again

We were in the preferred section the bar tender I believe you spell Leonelle was the best, top notch service, friendly, always helpful…Claudia was great as well very helpful and nice. Will definitely return because of that experience , but if you go book room 4115 great room good slide down to the preferred pool….food was good but the Italian restaurant was closed so that was the only disappointment. Great coffee shop. This place was not busy and was great. Again I hope they recognize the 2 people I mentioned they deserve it…..see you again
